Our dogs are AKC registered. If you are considering a Basset Hound as a family pet, be prepared to spend much time with your new pup. Training at an early age to be mannerly, manageable, and well adjusted is essential. Puppies develop social skills, confidence, and correct behavior in these early important weeks.
